Radley College Pool

Radley College Pool is easily accessible from Oxford and has fantastic facilities. Lessons run at the venue on Wednesday and Thursday mornings for all classes from Dippers through to Explorer 1 and 2 Classes. The venue is larger and runs two classes at a time - perfect if you have an older child and a little one to swim at the same time!

Arriving at the venue 

Radley College pool is situated in the Sports Complex entrance to the college only. The other entrance leads directly to the College, and the pool is not accessible from there. Upon entry into the Sports Complex driveway, follow the road around to the left, and then the right on a sharp corner, and parking is clearly visible. On entering the building, the pool is to the right hand side, please follow the steps down and round to the right. The changing rooms are at the end on the left. Our pool supervisor will meet you on arrival and show you where to go.

Important Information

Please be advised that the entrance from the changing rooms to poolside is straight onto poolside and at the deep end of the pool, and as such all siblings and swimmers should be supervised at all times for safety.​ 

In order to ensure everyone has enough space to change, please do not arrive at the venue more than 15minutes before your class. If you are early for class, please wait in the changing room areas until a few minutes before the class start time, to save disruption to those swimming.

- Outdoor footwear should be removed before entering the changing rooms.

- Please note that no food should be taken or eaten in the changing rooms.

- Some changing mats will be available, but these are not guaranteed, so please feel free to bring your own where needed. On leaving, please remove any used changing mats and return them to the entrance.

- Please note that all those waiting for classes should remain in the changing rooms/shower entrance area. There is no waiting at the deep end of poolside for lessons.

- Your instructor will call you round to class when your class begins. Whilst waiting, all children should remain safely supervised on poolside, and at no point should adults/children sit with their legs in/enter the water.

- Please note that the dive pit area of poolside is not in use for any swimmers/spectators

Changing and Spectating​

There are a large number of changing cubicles available for use, along with separate larger changing rooms for small groups, and other larger cubicles. There are also separate showers and toilets on either side when exiting poolside. There are lockers available should you wish to store belongings away, and these take a £1 coin. There is also changing table for those under 12 months.

​

There is space for one adult spectator to attend on poolside to view the relevant class. Please note that there is very limited seating poolside. There is however also a viewing gallery above the pool which is located up the stairs next to the seating area and spectators are very welcome to view classes here, and there is seating available. Please ensure that no photos/videos of classes are taken from this area. 

 

There is a cafe style seating area to use to feed your little ones after lessons, and there are also vending facilities on site.
