Arriving at the venue

Arriving at the pool from the Hanborough road, take the turning onto Beech road, which then flows round to the right, and the school is at the end of the road. 

From the car park, the pool is located at the bottom, to the right. The venue is set in the school grounds, so please walk carefully along the PreSchool building (at the bottom of the car park) and through these black gates, and the pool is on the left upon entry:

The school gates are open for swimmers in out of school hours, and there is parking available on site, or parking on the nearby roads, should these parking spaces be full.

Important Information

-Please note that this venue swims from June to the end of August only.

-Swimming hats are required at this venue for all swimmers aged 4 years upwards.

-Please note that there are no showers on site. Toilets and changing space are available.

- A parent/guardian must be present at all times before, after and on poolside during class.

-No food or drink should be consumed at any time on site, in the changing rooms or toilet building, except for water.

- There is a local play park behind the school. Please ensure that swimmers are not left during their time at the venue ie. to use the park with siblings, as they must be supervised at all times, but it is very useful for before or after swimming class! 

-Lessons will run unless we contact to cancel due to heavy rain or storms. Please avoid suncream where possible. Rash vests and fitted swim tops may be worn in the pool.

Changing and Spectating​ ​

The venue is a basic, outdoor school swimming pool, and has a simple changing block adjacent to the pool. There is plenty of space poolside to wait during class, and for siblings to watch poolside. Please come prepared to spectate for the weather we are given (umbrellas for both light rain or sun!) and bring towels and nice warm clothes for children after changing.

Please note that swimmers, siblings and spectators are not permitted sit on the pool stairs, or with arms/legs hanging into the water, and should remain seated as best as possible during class.
